Prenatal Yoga and Postnatal Yoga


This yoga is designed for women during their pregnancy and focuses on a gentle safe flow of poses. Breathing techniques as well as pelvic exercises are incorporated to promote a more comfortable labor and delivery.

 

Special Conditions and Prenatal Yoga

Pregnant women should consult with their doctor before practicing yoga or any other exercise program. Women who perform regular exercise may experience a decline in ability during pregnancy.  If this is apparent, pregnant woman should not try to overcompensate.
